just made this for a friend who gave birth yesterday, give me your honest opinions on it, as I'm thinking of selling some of my cards, would you buy a card like this one?

okay, just put my first card on the auction bit on here, I even made the posh fancy bit that goes inside the envelope to match the card

I have just come across this thread, i was thinking of getting into card making as im sickof the same old cards in the shops, usually i make personalised ones with my kids pics on LOL

The baby boy card was beautiful, really really nice and i would definatly buy it, I have seen a big boom in this sort of card in the shops and they are going for £3-4 sometimes more! Maybe you could make some and ask local shops to sell them for you!

I do keep thinking about that, we have a florist and small hairdressers round here, could be worth me making a few occasions cards and seeing if they could put them on display for me

aww that is really lovely, cards like that cost a fortune in the shops, is there a verse inside the card or is it blank to write your own words

Bunny

I make them say whatever you want them to say (the ones made to order), otherwise they have a basic greeting inside them

It's a lovely card Bunny, I would buy it. I do like something different but they charge about £4 in the shops for these but I do know from making my own jewellery, time & materials don't come cheap. And it does have a personal touch to it.

My cousin is due a baby boy in September, would you make one for me?
