Has anyone been to see this? If so, what did you think?

No not yet. A load from our church went and I think they thought it was ok. A few didn't understand it though :hysterica

Haven't seen it myself but a friend watched it and thought it was good. My sis watched it as well and liked it but her dh said he'd wished he hadn't watched so many documentaries about it as it spoiled it a bit.

must admit, i have seen it and thought that it was great. Alot of people are saying that it is nothing like the book. HELLO!!!! the book is 600 pages and is very descriptive!!! i mean when are the films as good as the books anyway?

I'm one of the only people around who hasn't read the book yet ... (we have it here ....)
Don't usually get out to the cinema, now - but would watch it on DVD or something.

Have bought the book, not got around to reading it yet, hard to with 3 kids! Would personally rather read the book than see the film, although having just found myself happy with going to church for the first time in about 20 years am worried reading it will make me question a lot that I dont need to question, if that makes sense?

It shouldn't make you question anything hun, it's a made up novel just like all the other stories you've read. Our vicar has been to see it, as has half our church - nothing to worry about at all :D

Don't worry, it's more a dig at the Catholic faith if anything!!!! And it didn't make me question anything really.
Read the book and loved it, so went to see the film the week it was released. It was good but not as good as the book tbh.

I've read the book and loved it... it's a bit slow to start with but really gets going after the first couple of chapters. I haven't seen the film as yet and I'll probably wait til it comes on DVD. Bit unsure as to whether Tm Hank was the right choice for Langdon though....????? I'll reserve judgement til i've seen it.
