Usually avoid Steve Martin films. He was funny in the 80's when i was a kid, but is just outdated now. For funny i stick to Adam Sandler, although i do admit he is not everyones cup of tea. Too be honest, I hadn't even heard of it.
Recently bought the Libertine with Johnny Depp and would recommend it. It is very funny and rather touching at the same time. And Johnny Depp is Johnny Depp...You know what i mean ladies...He isn't too pretty at the end though, so i warn you know. The guy can act though. Brilliant!!!!

I LOVE Johnny Depp and this film is on my list. Hollywood has rejected him for too long and I can't wait until Pirates of the Caribbean comes out!

Agree with Steve Martin, he is a bit dated now and think he should leave the comedy film well alone now.

There is definately something about Johnny Depp isn't there??? He is just brilliant, you know a film with him is going to be quality entertainment. Also cant wait for the return of Jack Sparrow. The Libertine has filled to void nicely. Definately recommended!!!
Also I agree with nicosmum, little Nicky is fantastic. Brilliant ending!!! Genius!
Also have a soft spot for the Wedding singer though, there is something very sweet about Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore when they do movies together. And i love his Cure inspired ballad too, nearly died laughing first time i heard it. Brilliant!!!
